Mohawk and Maumee Valley Country Day squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mohawk had to settle for second. They were dealt a 75-43 defeat at the hands of the Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Maumee Valley Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keeran Stokes, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 18 points along with eight boards and four steals. Stokes' big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Jeybrehm Price was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds.

Mohawk's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Mohawk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonel Crawford will roll in looking for their 24th straight victory, something Maumee Valley Country Day surely won't give up without a fight.
