Softball Recap: Sky View Comes Up Short

Sky View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Bear River Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Brylee Andrus made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Sky View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Bear River, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Sky View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 loss against Orem on the 14th. As for Bear River, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against West Field on the 15th.
