It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mission Vista ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Mission Vista has posted since April 10th.

William Voigts tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Mission Vista's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Keegan Jimenez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
