Muskegon Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 52-35 bruising from Wellspring Prep. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Muskegon Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wellspring Prep, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7.

Muskegon Heights will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grand River Prep at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Wellspring Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-10 defeat against Tri-Unity Christian on the 7th.
