Football Recap: Princeton Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Princeton rose to the challenge on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Winton Woods Warriors 23-22. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 26-15 loss the last time these two teams met.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Winton Woods, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Coming up, Princeton will square off against Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 14.5, the Panthers 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Winton Woods does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
