North Kansas City had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-61 W against the Liberty Blue Jays. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Blue Jays are ranked 57th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Kansas City pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Liberty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Coming up, North Kansas City will host Creighton Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Kansas City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Creighton Prep likes a good challenge. As for Liberty, they will head out to square off against Park Hill South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
