Fruitland hadn't done well against Nampa Christian recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Grizzlies came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 13-10. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Trojans back in March, they had to take a 10-3 defeat.

Fruitland got a massive performance out of Macy Kile, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. What's more, Kile posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March. Adlee Harris was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Fruitland lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Fruitland's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Nampa Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fruitland will head out to take on Homedale on Monday. As for Nampa Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Marsing at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
