Football Recap: Tate Aggies vs. Chiles Timberwolves

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tate had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Chiles Timberwolves 35-14. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won five matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Tate found their leader in sophomore Tanner Clark, who rushed for 130 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 119 yards and one TD while completing 87.5% of his passes. Clark also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Aggies are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Armaud Brown, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Tate was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 238 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
