Basketball Game Preview: Perrydale Pirates vs. Lyle Cougars

The Perrydale Pirates will head out to face off against the Lyle Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Perrydale is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Perrydale was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to St. Paul. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Buckaroos are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Lyle scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to Trout Lake.

Lyle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Perrydale, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
