Chipley took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Walton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chipley Tigers skirted past the Walton Braves 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 5, 2024.

Olivia Brown was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Angelica McIntyre also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Chipley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Walton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Walton, they will challenge South Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
