Cy-Fair won the last time they faced Fort Bend Travis and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Cy-Fair never let Fort Bend Travis on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Macie Caramanica paced Cy-Fair's offense, picking up ten kills. Caramanica were helped by Giselle Barbosa and Mia Romero, who contributed eight assists each. Romero was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Travis saw an underclassman step up: freshman Scarlett Sera had eight assists and six digs.

The victory got Cy-Fair back to even at 9-9. As for Fort Bend Travis, they moved to 8-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Cy-Fair will challenge Cypress Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Bend Travis, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against George Ranch on the 30th.
