Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irvin). They never let the Fabens Wildcats onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Rockets with their most commanding win of the season.

Irvin's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Fabens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Irvin will be playing at home against Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ysleta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. As for Fabens, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
