Meanwhile, Mayfield entered their tilt with Westridge on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win.
After all that action, the final score was 25-6, 25-16, 25-18.
Polytechnic pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mayfield, the win also got them back to even at 4-4.
