Baseball Recap: Sullivan Comes Up Short

Sullivan lost against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sullivan took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg. The Redskins just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Sullivan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolton Wiley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, the victory (which was their 11th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will challenge Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sullivan is facing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at the right time seeing as Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they will face off against Pana at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
