After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Basha was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Horizon Huskies get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Basha got a great performance from Kylee Duffy as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, Duffy posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Makaila Quinney was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Aniyah Jaiman was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Basha always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Horizon only posted an OBP of .176.

Basha is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Horizon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Basha will challenge Sunnyslope at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
