Football Recap: Henryetta Comes Up Short

Henryetta lost against Vian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights took a blow against the Wolverines, falling 48-14. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Although Henryetta took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Williams and Joseph Cummings.

This is the second loss in a row for Henryetta and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Vian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henryetta will take on Antlers at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Knights will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Vian, they will challenge Wilburton at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Diggers' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
