Jordan had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed past the Hillside Hornets to the tune of 52-23. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Hornets are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hillside's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kynnedy Roberts, who posted eight points and three steals. Morgan Trotman was another key player, putting up four points along with five boards and three blocks.

Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Hillside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Durham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
