After a string of six wins, Center Point's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Great Hearts Western Hills Spartans.

Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 13 kills. Beckerson got some help from Kaylani Ritter and her 15 assists. Isela Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Great Hearts Western Hills was led to victory by Macayla Sandoval and Brianna Mendoza`. Sandoval had 11 digs, while Mendoza` had 15 assists.

Center Point's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Great Hearts Western Hills, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Center Point will venture away from home to face off against Our Lady of the Hills at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Great Hearts Western Hills, they will challenge Poteet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
