Basketball Recap: West Boylston Takes a Loss

West Boylston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-26 loss at the hands of the Narragansett Regional Warriors. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.

Leading Narragansett Regional to victory were Brielle Haddocks and Kaelyn Cote. Haddocks dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Cote posted 24 points and seven steals. Haddocks is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Tallulah Celata was another key player, putting up five points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.

West Boylston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Narragansett Regional, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the West Boylston Lions duke it out with the Gardner Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Narragansett Regional, they will square off against Tahanto Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
