Volleyball Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short

Mt. Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Stephenson Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Stephenson, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Mt. Zion will square off against Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephenson, they will welcome Lithonia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
