Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet has the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome Stafford/Somers/East Windsor on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average (Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet 15.44, Stafford/Somers/East Windsor 14.25), so any points scored will be well earned.

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet didn't have too much breathing room in their contest with Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby last Friday, but they still walked away with a 26-20 victory. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Devin Hill, who picked up 72 yards on the ground on 15 carries and accumulated 188 passing yards, and Julian Ryans, who caught four passes for 128 yards and three TDs. That makes it three straight good games from Hill.

Meanwhile, Stafford/Somers/East Windsor was able to grind out a solid win over Haddam-Killingworth last week, winning 26-15. Mark Mclaughlin had a stellar game for the Bulldogs as he rushed for 117 yards and three TDs on 28 carries.

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering/Classical Magnet took a serious blow against Stafford/Somers/East Windsor when the two teams last met in last September, falling 47-6.
