The West Point Pointers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Middlesex 80-46. West Point has struggled against the Chargers recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Middlesex got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was JaQuan Griffin out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Griffin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Dandy, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds.

West Point dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Middlesex, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

West Point will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middlesex, they will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
