Troy is 7-2 against Valley Falls since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Troy will head out on the road to square off against Valley Falls at 4:30 p.m. Troy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Valley Falls likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Troy made easy work of Jefferson County North and carried off an 18-8 win. Considering the Trojans have won three contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Valley Falls fell victim to McLouth and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-0. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Troy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.5 runs this season. As for Valley Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Troy suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Valley Falls when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Troy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
