Softball Recap: Holton-Arms Starts off Right with Win over Maret

Holton-Arms gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Maret Frogs with a sharp 15-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Holton-Arms also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Maret's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holton-Arms will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sidwell Friends at 4:15 p.m. on April 3rd. After both having extra time off, Maret and St. Andrew's Episcopal will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 4:30 p.m. on April 2nd. The contest will give St. Andrew's Episcopal their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
