Timberline is 9-1 against Capital since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolves will be home for the holidays to greet the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Timberline is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Post Falls, who was ranked sixth at the time (Timberline was ranked 21st). The Wolves fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 52-50 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wolves have suffered since January 24th.

Meanwhile, Capital put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Bishop Kelly by a score of 62-52. The 62-point effort marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Capital, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Timberline strolled past Capital in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 72-58. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
