Volleyball Recap: Midlands STEM Charter Takes a Loss

Midlands STEM Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the C.A. Johnson Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Midlands STEM Charter was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Midlands STEM Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for C.A. Johnson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Midlands STEM Charter will face off against rival Riverwalk Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, C.A. Johnson is set to take on their familiar foe Great Falls at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
