Soccer Recap: Belleview Comes Up Short

Belleview fell victim to Forest and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Rattlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the Wildcats are ranked 91st).

Belleview has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Belleview has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Dunnellon on the 9th. As for Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 victory against West Port on the 10th.
