Volleyball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mitchell Marauders. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marauders earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Audriyna Uribe paced Harrison's offense, picking up six kills. Uribe got some help from Emma Gadlin and her 11 assists. Imani Warner controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Mitchell, their record is now 4-16.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against La Junta on the 25th. As for Mitchell, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Montbello on the 25th.
