Volleyball Recap: Humble Takes a Loss

Humble was the 2-0 winner over Heights when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-21 in the first set.

Humble took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-11, 15-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Humble has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Humble will challenge Huntsville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heights, they will face off against Texas City at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
