Football Game Preview: Otay Ranch vs. Valley Center

On Friday, Valley Center is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Otay Ranch at Otay Ranch High School at 4:00 PM. Otay Ranch will be strutting in after a win while Valley Center will be stumbling in from a loss.

Valley Center came within a touchdown against Mt. Carmel last Friday, but wound up with a 6-13 loss.

Otay Ranch had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against San Marcos last week 27-14.

Valley Center's defeat took them down to 1-1 while Otay Ranch's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Valley Center would reverse both their bad luck and Otay Ranch's good luck. We'll see if Valley Center manages to pull off that tough task or if Otay Ranch keeps their momentum going instead.
