Sanderson's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Garner Trojans as Sanderson made off with a 5-1 win. Sanderson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Garner with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lindsay Kinlaw (2), Katie Lewis, Parker Johnson, and Natalie Rau.

Sanderson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Garner has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sanderson will challenge Athens Drive at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Garner, they will face off against Clayton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
