On Tuesday, Citrus Hill earned a 5-1 victory over Hillcrest.

Noe Mendoza made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Mendoza was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Mendoza wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Farmer, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Farmer also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Ramona fell victim to Redlands and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Terriers.

Citrus Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ramona, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.
