Thursday just wasn't the day for Fairland's offense. They fell victim to a rough 11-0 loss at the hands of the Dewey Bulldoggers on Thursday.
For Dewey's part, Lathe Griggs looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Griggs has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
