Basketball Game Preview: Round Mountain Knights vs. Pahrump Valley Trojans

The Round Mountain Knights will challenge the Pahrump Valley Trojans at 3:30 a.m. on Friday. Round Mountain will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Round Mountain didn't have too much trouble with Tonopah as they won 45-26.

Round Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Faga led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Faga, who posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals.

Round Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.

Pahrump Valley played against Sunrise Mountain and won via forfeit.

Round Mountain now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Pahrump Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.
