Baseball Game Preview: Greater Johnstown Trojans vs. Clearfield Bison

The Greater Johnstown Trojans will challenge the Clearfield Bison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Greater Johnstown came up short against Tyrone on Friday, falling 9-1.

Greater Johnstown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Heinz Petak, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Clearfield got themselves on the board against Bishop Carroll on Friday, but Bishop Carroll never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 10-0.

Kam Kushner was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Clearfield is 2-1 when Kushner posts three or more RBI, but 5-7 otherwise.

Clearfield's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Greater Johnstown, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.
