Basketball Game Preview: Cony Rams vs. Erskine Academy Eagles

The Cony Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Erskine Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cony will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Lawrence, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 60-49 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Erskine Academy earned a 68-57 victory over Mount View on Wednesday.

Erskine Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Cony, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Everything came up roses for Cony against Erskine Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as the team secured a 74-47 victory. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
