Palm Harbor University had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They came out on top against the St. Petersburg Green Devils by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Palm Harbor University was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-11.

Savannah Fleischhauer paced Palm Harbor University's offense, picking up 15 kills. Fleischhauer got some help from Skylar Shepherd and her 51 assists. Finally, Fleischhauer was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Palm Harbor University's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for St. Petersburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Palm Harbor University and Strawberry Crest will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Petersburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Largo on the 9th.
