Football Recap: Kennedy Trojans vs. Banks Braves

After flying high against North Marion last Friday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Kennedy Trojans were beaten by the Banks Braves 40-7 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Braves are ranked 30th).

Banks' receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Jarrett Martin and Lane Gilbert. Martin gained 170 total yards and two touchdowns while Gilbert rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.
