Basketball Game Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Madison Bobcats

Thunder Ridge is 0-10 against Madison since January of 2022 but things could change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Thunder Ridge Titans will jump right back in to play the Madison Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Thunder Ridge has given up an average of 53.3 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Thunder Ridge heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They took a 63-48 bruising from Lake City. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Timberwolves are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Madison didn't have quite enough to beat Boise on Thursday and fell 49-46. The match marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 21-3.

Thunder Ridge might still be hurting after the 76-56 defeat they got from Madison when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can Thunder Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
