Calaveras hasn't had much luck against Linden recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Calaveras Red Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Linden Lions at 4:00 p.m. The contest will give Calaveras their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.

Calaveras is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs last Saturday, they were much more limited against Argonaut on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-2.

Linden is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Calaveras' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
