Softball Recap: Northwestern Regional Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Northwestern Regional barely beat Thomaston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Highlanders never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Highlanders, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Northwestern Regional pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Thomaston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
