Volleyball Recap: Waskom Comes Up Short

Waskom's tournament run continued when they took on Greenville HomeSchool Athletics on Friday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archers.

Claire Samples was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 assists and five digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Waskom has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Greenville HomeSchool Athletics, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Waskom has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sabine on the 29th. As for Greenville HomeSchool Athletics, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Alto on the 29th.
