Basketball Recap: Mancelona Takes a Loss

Mancelona lost against St. Mary Cathedral back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mancelona Ironmen came up short against the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds, falling 46-26. The Ironmen just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Mancelona's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. Mary Cathedral, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Mancelona will challenge Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary Cathedral, they will take on Onaway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
