Mountain Crest faced Stansbury in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Stallions who were credited with the victory. Mountain Crest were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Stansbury earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Mountain Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Stansbury, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Crest will welcome Tooele at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Crest are facing Tooele at the right time seeing as Tooele are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stansbury, they will take on Sky View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stansbury's defense better be ready for this one: Sky View have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
