Baseball Recap: Bray-Doyle Comes Up Short

Bray-Doyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Velma-Alma Comets. If the Donkeys were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Comets when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bray-Doyle's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Velma-Alma, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

Bray-Doyle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-2 defeat against Waurika on the 15th. As for Velma-Alma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Frederick on the 15th.
