It was a good run, but St. Dominic unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kirkwood Pioneers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crusaders came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Pioneers are ranked 274th).

St. Dominic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Kirkwood, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

St. Dominic has already played their next contest (against Vianney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kirkwood will look to defend their home court on Friday against McCluer North at 7:00 p.m.
