Baseball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-6 to the Maplewood Rockets. The Bombers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Windham has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Maplewood, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Windham will host St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Maplewood, they are taking a road trip to square off against Garfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
