Soccer Game Preview: Southeast Guilford vs. Eastern Guilford + Official Tickets

The Southeast Guilford Falcons will challenge the Eastern Guilford Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Southeast Guilford and Northern Guilford faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Nighthawks. While losing is never fun, Southeast Guilford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Northern Guilford are ranked 130th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern Guilford). They blew past Northeast Guilford 7-4 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Eastern Guilford needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Eastern Guilford's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-15-1. As for Southeast Guilford, they dropped their record down to 7-12-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
