Hopewell Valley Central hadn't done well against Burlington Township recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Falcons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 4th.

Hopewell Valley Central's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Burlington Township, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.
