Basketball Game Preview: Providence Classical Paladins vs. Salt and Light Homeschool Eagles

The Providence Classical Paladins will take on the Salt and Light Homeschool Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salt and Light Homeschool took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Providence Classical, who comes in off a win.

Providence Classical will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Covenant Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Providence Classical walked away with a 50-43 victory over Covenant Christian on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Paladins.

Meanwhile, Salt and Light Homeschool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 55-43 to The Awty International. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1507th, while the Rams are ranked 608th).

Providence Classical's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Salt and Light Homeschool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Providence Classical suffered a grim 82-60 defeat to Salt and Light Homeschool in their previous meeting back in November of 2021. Can Providence Classical avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
